Colts players cleaned out their lockers Monday after the loss against the Patriots on Saturday ended their season.
Head Coach Chuck Pagano says he spoke with the team on what they accomplished this season and that they need to "get away from football." Pagano says the players need to get their minds away from football and to "get their body back." But Pagano added the players shouldn't stay away from the game too long since the offseason program begins April 21st.
Pagano says the team has "a lot of work to do" and many decisions are on the horizon. He says he and GM Ryan Grigson have yet to meet to discuss the roster. The team has 16 unrestricted free agents, including Antoine Bethea, Vontae Davis, Adam Vinatieri and Pat McAfee. The Colts also have over $30 million in salary cap space to make some moves during the offseason.
