Detroit Auto Show Could Bring Good News for Ft. Wayne
The North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan is the stage for good news in Fort Wayne.
The New Chevy Silverado, built in Fort Wayne, has been named "Truck of the Year." Automotive editors from around the country were tasked with selecting the top car and top truck. The Silverado was lauded for its "car like" attributes, like a quiet cab, high quality interior materials, and good fuel mileage.
Lloyd Bierman, Marketing Director for the Chevy Silverado, says he fully expects sales to continue a strong upward trend for the full-size truck. Bierman says awards like "Truck of the Year" are important, because they highlight what the Silverado offers.
