The suspect in a fatal hit-and-run crash in January 2013 was found guilty Thursday.
The Marion County Prosecutor's Office says Greg Hudson was convicted of Failure to Stop at an Accident Causing Death, a felony, for the January 14, 2013 crash which killed 63-year-old Kathleen Clark. Clark was found dead in the grass along South Meridian Street just north of Troy Avenue.
Investigators were able to identify Hudson's truck by viewing security camera footage from a nearby business. Acting on an anonymous tip, investigators found the truck at a vehicle repair shop in Shelbyville.
Hudson admitted to hitting something with his truck and stopped in a nearby neighborhood to look at damage to the truck. Hudson said he went home after looking at the damage and not being able to determine what he had hit. The Prosecutor's Office says he learned he hit a person on January 15 but did not report the incident to police.
Hudson's sentencing hearing has been scheduled for March 21.
