Former Indiana Governor Joe Kernan and Indiana Supreme Court Chief Justice Randall Shepard are making their case for streamlining local government Tuesday in Evansville.
The two are meeting with southern Indiana residents to discuss the recommendations they made as leaders of the commission on local government reform.
MySmartGov.org spokeswoman Mary Dieter says most attendees like what they hear, saying it would save money. But critics say cutting local governments would mean cutting local services.
