The Indiana Supreme Court has set the execution date for a triple murderer.

Listen:

Barring a stay of execution from the U.S. Supreme Court or clemency from Governor Mitch Daniels, 49-year-old Matthew Wrinkles will be put to death on December 11.

Wrinkles was convicted in the 1994 slayings of his estranged wife, her brother and her brother's wife. He had argued that he received ineffective counsel during his trial because his lawyers did not object to him wearing a stun belt.

The lethal injection in Indiana was in June of 2007. Michael Lambert was put to death for the December 1990 murder of Muncie police officer Gregg Winters.
