Death Row Inmate Appears on Oprah
By Reed Parker
11/11/2009
Indiana death row inmate Matthew Wrinkles appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show Tuesday to speak with members of his family.
Wrinkles was convicted of shooting his estranged wife Debra to death along with her brother and sister-in-law Mark and Natalie Fulkerson in Evansville in 1994.
Wrinkles says he agreed to appear on the show to give his children and nieces and nephews some resolution.
The Fulkerson's daughter Kim and other family members appeared on the show and stated they forgive Wrinkles and don't want to see him put to death.
Wrinkles had earlier written letters to the victims’ family and his family apologizing for the three murders. His execution is set for December 11 at the Indiana State Prison in Michigan City.
