A California man faces preliminary child pornography charges after police say they found images of nude girls on a CD in his car.

Police also say 60-year-old Rodger W. Suits of Glendora, Calif., told officers he secretly filmed fully clothed girls at a mall and restaurant in the Indianapolis suburb of Greenwood using a three-ring binder with a hole cut into it.

Anderson police Detective Mitch Carroll says Suits was arrested early Thursday when officers responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle.

He was charged with one preliminary count of possession of child pornography. Suits was being held Friday at the Madison County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.

A message seeking information on whether he had a lawyer was left Friday evening with police.
