An angry crowd of bikers--more of them than the usual weekend gathering in the summer--rallied on Monument Circle tonight in protest of the David Bisard case.
They believe the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is covering up for one of its own. "Probably 99.9 percent of the cops are good," said one man in his leathers. "This guy made a bad decision and he needs to be punished for it."
Other officers stood quietly on the fringes of the gathering, ready to provide security if needed. But it was a peaceful crowd in spite of the angry and, in some cases, profane protests.
One man arrived in a pickup truck bearing a sign that read "Hit Me."
