John Kautzman, attorney for IMPD Officer David Bisard, says he thinks the investigation report on the case involving Bisard will offer information on both Bisard himself and the handling of the case.

"I think it will certainly touch on what the nature of the investigation was and how did the command structure do in handling the investigation. It also will, I think, go into a significant amount of detail about the number of people that were interviewed about their observations of David Bisard," Kautzman said on the 93 WIBC Morning News.

Kautzman says throughout the investigation, his client has maintained his innocence regarding the criminal charges saying they are not based upon fact and law.

He says if the report says that 40 people were interviewed and say Bisard was not observed to be intoxicated in any way, that should put a spotlight on the blood sample taken from Bisard to see if it was compromised.
