Property Owners Set to Rent Space to Super Bowl Visitors
As the 2012 Super Bowl draws near, some property owners are preparing to rent their space to visitors coming to town for the big game.
Greg Cooper, Realtor with the Dick Richwine Group at Prudential Indiana tells 93 WIBC's Amber Stearns on Indy's Afternoon News this practice is not a new idea.
"It happens a little bit more perhaps in some of the warmer destinations because a lot of people might go to, say, Miami to enjoy the weather during Super Bowl week. I think the people that are going to come here are going to have a true interest in the game and they're going to look at it as an opportunity to experience Indianapolis," Cooper says.
Cooper says those thinking about renting space to visitors need to be aware of any scams. He says the best thing to do is get the help of a reputable national home broker to help with logistics.
He says renting space to Super Bowl visitors, if done right, can be a profitable venture.
