Indianapolis Makes Pitch for Super Bowl Today

5/20/2008

Indianapolis will learn today whether or not the city has been chosen to host Super Bowl XLVI.

The bid committee is armed with a 3-inch thick proposal detailing plans for the big game and the week leading up to it.

The committee will have 15 minutes to persuade the 32 owners to vote for Indy as host. Indy has pledged $25 million in private investments and is willing to go to $32 million if needed.

Indianapolis is up against Glendale, Arizona and Houston, Texas.
