Craig Ferguson Negotiating New TV Show

(Undated) -- Outgoing "Late Late Show" host Craig Ferguson is reportedly lining up a new talker. "Variety" says the Scottish comedian is in final negotiations with Tribune Media for a new syndicated half-hour show to begin airing on Tribune stations in the fall of 2015. Earlier this year, after David Letterman announced his plans to vacate his "Late Show" desk next year, Ferguson followed suit shortly after, announcing he would be leaving "The Late Late Show" at the end of the year. Reports have suggested that British actor and writer James Corden would be taking over Ferguson's post to follow Letterman replacement Stephen Colbert but CBS has yet to confirm the reports.
