Gene Simmons' Depression Comments Rattles Nikki Sixx

(Undated) -- Gene Simmons' advice to those who suffer from depression is drawing fire from some fellow rockers. In a recent interview with Songfacts.com, the KISS bassist suggested depression sufferers kill themselves, adding that he'll always call them on their bluff. Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx thinks Simmons' comments are "pretty moronic." Sixx called out Simmons on his Sixx Sense radio show saying, while he likes Gene, he doesn't like him in this situation and he doesn't like his words. The rocker added, "For people who are depressed, there is a way out. There are many, many ways out." Sixx says "I don't want people to listen to an interview from a rock star, who's telling you the only way out is out."
