Jason Biggs Apologies For Malaysian Airlines Joke - Again

(New York, NY) -- Jason Biggs is offering another apology for his poorly-timed joke on the recent Malaysian Airlines disaster, this time in plain "View." The "Orange Is The New Black" star started his co-hosting gig on ABC's "The View" Monday, saying he "meant no harm" but conceded that his joke was "stupid." Biggs added, "I've always tried to find the humor in situations... it's a knee-jerk reaction for me, it's how I cope." Twitter users took Biggs to task last Thursday when the actor tweeted, "Anyone wanna buy my Malaysian Airlines frequent flier miles?" within the first few hours of the breaking news report. After condemning his critics on Twitter for not being able to take a joke, Biggs eventually apologized.

On "The View" on Monday he said he had nothing but sympathy for the victims and their families, adding that he had learned his lesson and wanted to move on.
