"Sleepy Hollow" Marketers Are Apologizing For "Headless Day"

(Undated) -- A marketing firm trying to create a buzz for FOX's "Sleepy Hollow" series is apologizing for their "Headless Day" promo after the beheading of a second U.S. journalist. The firm "ThinkJam" sent out emails to journalists labeling today "National Beheading Day." As those emails were being received the news broke that U.S. journalist Steve Sotloff had been beheaded by ISIS militants. The firm immediately issued an apology saying they don't take the news lightly and the release of the promo was in poor taste.
