Kerry To Travel To Egypt For Talks On Gaza

(Washington, DC) -- Secretary of State John Kerry is heading to Egypt for meetings on the violence in Gaza. Kerry will meet with Egyptian and other senior officials today in Cairo. The fighting between Israel and Hamas militants has killed more than 500 people. Kerry claims Israel is under siege. Kerry told CNN's "State of the Union" the U.S. supports an Egyptian ceasefire proposal. However, Kerry says the Palestinian militant group Hamas must be willing to stop its attacks on Israel.
