Russia Extends Snowden Residence Permit

(Undated) -- Former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden will remain in Russia for at least another three years. Snowden's Russian attorney told reporters today that the NSA whistleblower has gotten a three-year residence permit. Snowden has been in Russia since last year, after he leaked classified information about NSA surveillance of Americans' Intenet activity and telephone data. He's wanted on espionage charges in the U.S.
