White House Official Condemns Russia's Actions In Ukraine

(Washington, DC) -- The White House is speaking out against Russia's moves in Ukraine.
That's Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes. Moscow claims the trucks are to provide humanitarian aid. Rhodes says negotiations for that convoy required the International Committee of the Red Cross to be involved, and that hasn't happened. Rhodes described it as part of a clear pattern of Russia supporting separatists within Ukraine. Rhodes said that if Russia doesn't remove the convoy, it will face additional costs and consequences. Russia has already been the target of sanctions over its actions in Ukraine.
