14-Year-Old Kokomo Boy Xavier Johnson Needs Your Help This Christmas

Johnson, who suffers from several illnesses, is trying to break a world record for cards sent to his house.


KOKOMO, Ind. -- A 14-year-old boy from Kokomo, Indiana needs you to help make his Christmas special.

Xavier Johnson from Kokomo, Indiana suffers from cystic fibrosis, cirrhosis and diabetes. Those  illnesses take a toll on his immune system, especially during the winter.

Johnson will eventually have to have liver, pancreas and lung transplants. Right now, he's unable to attend school and is on homebound isolation. 

This holiday season, he is trying to break a world record of 700,000 Christmas cards to his house. Johnson is also trying to raise awareness for organ donation.
