INDIANAPOLIS -- IMPD is investigating after two people were shot at Club Venus on West 16th Street Sunday morning.

The call came in around 2:45 p.m. after a fight broke out inside the strip club.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a man who was hurt. Police say he had injuries to his face after the fight.

At that point, officers did not know that anyone had been shot, but saw blood on the ground inside the club. Security officers told investigators they heard four to five gunshots. However, the victims were no longer at the scene.

A short time later, the officers told RTV6 that two people walked into Methodist Hospital with gunshot wounds to their legs. Dispatch says the men are expected to recover.
