Aldi to Bring Over 130 Jobs to Indiana

They will be holding a hiring event this Saturday, April 28th.

INDIANAPOLIS -- An expanding supermarket chain, which has spread its roots across parts of metro Indianapolis, is looking to bring more than 130 new jobs to Indiana and parts of northern Kentucky.

Aldi is holding a hiring spree on Saturday, April 28th at the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis.

More than 70 stores are participating in this one-day hiring event.

The grocer says it offers more than minimum wage, with hourly pay rates starting at $11.30 per hour.

Aldi is also looking to train managers, offering up to $80,000 per year for those moving into a Store Manager position.

Aldi has planned to pump $30 million into the Indianapolis area to revamp 22 stores across central Indiana.

The upcoming hiring spree at the Marriott on the 28th will go from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

A separate hiring event will be going on during the same time frame on the 28th in Muncie at 601 South High Street.
