All Shook Up: Illinois Quake Rattles Southern Indiana

The U.S. Geological Survey says a 3.8-magnitude quake hit not far from the Indiana - Illinois state line Tuesday morning.

INDIANAPOLIS -- An earthquake this morning in Illinois has Hoosiers in southern Indiana "all shook up".

The U.S. Geological Survey says a 3.8-magnitude quake hit near Albion, Illinois at 7:47 Eastern time.

Albion is about 15 miles from the Indiana state line in the southwestern part of the state and roughly 30 miles from the city of Princeton.

There have been no reports of injuries or damage to buildings, put people living as far away as Bloomington have said they felt the quake. The USGS has yet to confirm those reports.
