Another Murder In Indy

Police investigate shooting death on near Northside
Indianapolis police say a man was found dead from a gunshot inside a house on the near Northside.

IMPD Sergeant Kendale Adams says a woman found her neighbor dead inside the house in the 1100 block of West 35th Street around 7:30 this morning.  The man was later pronounced dead at the scene. Adams says marijuana was also found in the home, but he says investigators don't know yet when the man was shot, though Adams says gunshots were reported in the neighborhood overnight.

The victim's identity has not been released, and Adams says an autopsy is pending.  He says police have no information on possible suspects or a motive for the shooting yet.
