Badly Burned Body Discovered Behind Home

Indianapolis police are investigating the discovery of a badly burned body.

Detectives say a homeowner was walking his dog and found the woman's body behind his home in the 1100 block of Elder Avenue on Sunday.

Police believe that the victim was killed elsewhere and brought to the location where she was found.

The victim has not been positively identified. An autopsy is expected to be performed on Tuesday.
