Ballard Travels To Washington To Discuss Youth Violence

Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard is heading to Washington, DC Monday to meet with senior administration officials and other mayors to discuss issues concerning youth violence.

The Mayor will also participate in a town hall meeting with President Barack Obama concerning the "My Brother's Keeper" initiative to address gaps faced by boys and young men of color and ensure that all young people can reach their full potential.

This marks the third time the Mayor has participated in meetings on this topic. The previous meetings occurred in August 2013 and February of this year.
