Bluffton Teacher Arrested on Child Seduction Charges

Bluffton Police have confirmed that a former Bluffton teacher and coach has been arrested on charges of child seduction.

Authorities say that Joshua Clark of Fort Wayne is facing the charges and is being held on $5,000 bond. According to police, the incident happened in June at Bluffton High School.

A 17-year old female student recently reported the encounter.

Clark was a math instructor, and records show that he's been a teacher for over 10 years, including the last three at Bluffton.

School officials say Clark resigned Friday afternoon.

In a statement, Bluffton-Harrison Schools Superintendent Wayne Barker said, “I am deeply saddened by the events” and the school system "was committed to providing a safe environment for everyone.”
