Brother of NBA Basketball Player Killed in Marion

The business where Roger Randolph was shot and killed was intentionally set on fire Sunday.

MARION, Ind.--The brother of an NBA basketball player was found shot to death in the parking lot of a business in Marion Saturday morning.

Marion police say an officer leaving the police station heard several gunshots fired near Hop's Blues Room around 5 am and went to investigate.

When he got to Hop's Blues Room, he found Roger Randolph shot in the abdomen lying between two cars in the parking lot. Randolph was dead before that officer got there.

Roger Randolph was the brother of NBA player and former Marion basketball star, Zach Randolph. Police are still looking for the shooter.

On Sunday, officers discovered that Hop's Blues Room had been intentionally set on fire. 

Firefighters estimate the damage to be roughly $20,000 to the building, which will is closed until repairs can be made. 

Zach Randolph currently plays for the Sacramento Kings in the NBA.
