Dwight Bell was wanted in Indiana and Kentucky and was captured in Tennessee.

NEW CASTLE, Ind.--A man who is wanted in New Castle, was captured in Tennessee after he was suspected of rape and murder in Kentucky, said police.

Dwight Bell, 41, was arrested in Dandridge, Tenn., on a preliminary charge of theft of the murdered woman's car, said a post from the Somerset, Tenn., police department on Facebook.

"Dandridge Police Officers arrested Bell without incident on charges stemming from the warrant for the theft of Ruthie Carolyn New’s automobile. Bell is considered a person of interest in the murder of Ms. New," said the Facebook post.

In Indiana, he's wanted for failure to appear in court in a strangulation case.

He was spotted at Shapiro's deli in downtown Indianapolis in August, and at a Speedway gas station in the capital city.
