Coroner: Dr. Kevin Rodgers Was Shot to Death

Rodgers was found dead in his northwest side home on Monday afternoon.

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Marion County Coroner said Tuesday that Dr. Kevin Rodgers died from multiple gunshot wounds and that his death was a homicide.

Rodgers, 61, was found dead in his northwest side home just afer 12 p.m. Monday.

Dr. Rodgers was the program director emeritus at the IU School of Medicine and had been at IU since 1998.

No arrests have been made in Rodgers' death. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
