Coroner Identifies Body Found Partially Buried on West Side

The Marion County Coroner's Office has identified a body found on the city's west side last Thursday.

The body of 19-year-old Emeterio Islas was found partially buried in the 3300 block of West Washington Street shortly before 5:30 p.m. on June 12.  Police say Islas was shot multiple times.

The circumstances surrounding Islas' death are still under investigation.  Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS.
