Dept. of Natural Resources Allowing Free Fishing This Weekend

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is inviting you to fish for free this weekend.

Throughout the state, residents can wet a line without purchasing a license on June 7 and 8th. Many DNR State Parks and Reservoirs are hosting special events for Free Fishing Weekend.

Chain O’Lakes State Park, Hardy Lake, Summit Lake State Park, Monroe Lake’s Paynetown State Recreation Area and Patoka Lake’s Newton Stewart State Recreation Area are just a few of the locations hosting special events.
