Fire Heavily Damages Building In Fountain Square

Indianapolis fire investigators are trying to determine if lightning is to blame for a fire in Fountain Square Monday night. 

Crews arrived at Cultural Swirl and Athena’s Fashion Boutique shortly after 9 p.m. and found flames and heavy smoke coming from the third floor and roof of the building.

Officials estimated damage to the building at $200,000.

No injuries were reported.
