Former IU Football Player Arrested for Murder

Ex-IU running back Camion Patrick was arrested Wednesday in Bloomington in connection with the July stabbing death of a Tennessee teenager.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Former IU wide receiver Camion Patrick has been arrested for murder.

IU Bloomington campus police booked 22-year-old Patrick into the Monroe County correction complex Wednesday morning. The IndyStar reports Patrick was wanted on a murder charge out of Blount County, Tennessee.

Patrick and his brother Isaiah Wright have been connected to the July stabbing death of Caleb Radford, 18, of Maryville, Tennessee. 

Injuries ended Patrick's college football career ended in July due to injury, but he was still expected to graduate from IU.

A statement from police about Patrick's arrest is expected later today.
