I-69 Construction Zone Crash kills One

Indiana State police say a semi failed to slow down for traffic and caused a fatal chain-reaction crash on Interstate 69 in Madison County.

The crash happened Monday night in the middle of a construction zone between Pendleton and Anderson.

Troopers say a northbound semi hit a car, causing both vehicles to burst into flames. The car that was hit by the semi flew forward and hit a pickup truck. The pickup truck then hit the vehicle in front of it.

The driver of the initial vehicle hit by the semi was killed
