IMPD Officer Arrested For Domestic Battery

Justin Callahan is a 7-year IMPD veteran.

INDIANAPOLIS -- An IMPD officer is accused of domestic battery.

35-year-old Justin Callahan was off duty when he was arrested by other officers at a home on the far east side Thursday night. He is charged with battery and domestic battery.

Callahan is a 7-year veteran with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is currently assigned to the East District.

Police Chief Bryan Roach has placed him on administrative leave and revoked his police powers, at least until the criminal and internal investigations are completed.
