IMPD Still Searching For Driver Who Hit Man on Bike

Police hope a recently-released description of the vehicle will lead to more tips and an arrest.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Indy Metro Police have released new details about the vehicle that hit a man on a bike and then fled the scene.

33-year-old Bronson Gooch was struck just after 12 a.m. Wednesday while riding his bike in the 2500 block of N. Shadeland Avenue.

He remains in critical condition at an Indianapolis hospital.

About the Suspect Vehicle

IMPD is looking for a 1990-1995 Chevrolet Astro Van or GMC Safari with heavy damage to the front end, hood, and windshield. Police don't know the color of the vehicle.
