At Least Two Murder-Suicides in Indiana This Weekend

A teenage couple and an elderly couple are both dead in separate incidents.

MARION, Ind.--At least two murder-suicides are suspected in Indiana this weekend.

In Marion

Two teenagers who were shot early Sunday may have died in a murder-suicide. Marion Police said 13-year-old Alainee M. Byer of Jonesboro, Ind. and 17-year-old Corbin T. Page, of Gas City, were found dead in a home in Marion. 

Byer was spending the night at her father's home, said police. Her father was at work when the shootings happened. Investigators say they believe the incident was "due to the termination of the relationship between Byer and Page."

In St. Joseph County

An elderly couple died in a murder-suicide Saturday in St. Joseph County, in Greene Township. Phillip Wilmes, 81, and Barbara Wilmes, 80, were found by police when they went to check on the husband and wife Saturday afternoon, just before 4 o'clock.

St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Detectives said they had been shot and an autopsy is set for this morning in Ft. Wayne.
