MAP: 7 IPS High Schools At Risk of Closure

Community meetings are complete. Next, IPS must decide which 3 schools to close before the 2018-19 academic year.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Five highly-attended community meetings have come and gone. Now, it's time for the IPS Board of Commissioners to decide which 3 high schools it will close after the 2017-18 academic year. IPS will announce its final decision in June.

Here are the 7 schools identified for potential closure by the IPS Facilities Utilization Report

  • Arlington
  • Arsenal Tech
  • Broad Ripple
  • Crispus Attucks
  • George Washington
  • Northwest
  • Shortridge
