Missing Westfield Woman's Body Found in Car Pulled from Retention Pond

Nancy Gillet was reported missing by family members last week after she disappeared from her home. 

WESTFIELD, Ind. -- A 73-year-old woman missing since late February has been found dead. Her body was found in a car pulled from a retention pond by a dive team in Westfield Tuesday afternoon. 

Nancy Gillet was reported missing by family members last week after she disappeared from her home. 

Police located a car matching the description of Gillett's red Mitsubishi Eclipse in a retention pond not far from Gillett's home on Carey Road just north of 146th Street Tuesday afternoon.  

Gillett's cause of death is unknown at this time as police continue to investigate.
