IMPD officers found the 60-year-old woman in her car with redness and swelling on the left side of her face. The incident between her and her daughter escalated after she told her daughter she could no longer live at her home.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Assaulted with a cheeseburger?! That's what happened Sunday afternoon just before 12:30 at a McDonald's near 21st and Shadeland Avenue in Indianapolis.

A woman said she was hit in the face with the burger by her own daughter. IMPD officers said when they arrived, they found the 60-year-old woman in her car with redness and swelling on the left side of her face.

She told police the incident between her and her daughter escalated to her getting slapped with the cheeseburger after she told her daughter she could no longer live at her home. The woman also told police her daughter repeatedly said she wanted her mother to die.

The daughter took off in another car and police are still looking for her.
