One Person Seriously Hurt After School Bus Crash in Columbus

Driver Airlifted to Indianapolis Hospital; No Students Injured

COLUMBUS, Ind. -- One person was seriously injured following a school bus crash in Columbus, Indiana Friday afternoon.

The Columbus Fire Department said a car crashed into the back of the school bus in the 1500 block of N. Gladstone Avenue. 

Emergency crews airlifted the driver of the car to an Indianapolis hospital.

Investigators said there were a few students on the bus but none were hurt.

Police did not say what caused the incident to happen.
