Pence to Network With Aerospace Executives on Three-Day Britain Trip

Governor Pence leaves Saturday for Great Britain for a three-daytrade mission aimed specifically at boosting Indiana's aerospace industry.

Pence will open the Indiana booth at the Farnborough International Airshow, which features aviation companies from around the world. He's one of five U.S. governors attending in an effort to drum up usiness in their states.

Pence says the show offers a rare opportunity for face-to-face meetings with CEO's of corporate giants all gathered in one place.

Pence says Indiana has a chance to build on recent announcements of a new GE jet engine plant in Lafayette and an Alcoa engine parts plant in Lafayette. He'll be meeting with Alcoa, Rolls-Royce and Raytheon executives at the airshow. He'll also meet in London with the CEO's of BP and ArcelorMittal.
