Pike Twp. School Police Increasing Patrols Following Abduction Threat

Pike Township school police will increase patrols after a report that a man threatened Thursday morning to abduct a child waiting for a school bus at Bays Water Boulevard and Stanhope Way Southeast.

The kids all got on their bus and made it to school safely.  Bus drivers have been asked to report any suspicious individuals or vehicles.

"We are asking that all parents discuss with their children the importance of not speaking to strangers and reporting any suspicious behavior to parents and/or school officials," a school district spokesperson said.
