Police Arrest Teen They Think Played A Role in Another Indy Man's Death

Charges are pending, but that teen is in jail

INDIANAPOLIS--The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrested a man on Tuesday that they think may have been responsible for the death of another man last month.

19-year-old Christopher Reed was taken into custody on the suspicion of murder for his involvement in the death of 40-year-old Keith Williams. Williams died on September 19, but his body wasn't found until September 20. Officers found him with multiple gunshot wounds just inside the front door of a residence in the 1000 block of Grant Avenue.

The Marion County Prosecutor's Office is reviewing the case and still deciding on what charge or charges to bring against Reed. Reed was later transported to the City-County building for booking.
