Police Find Stolen Car with Child Inside

Our news gathering partners at RTV6 say the incident began at around 6:30 this morning.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Police on Indianapolis' south side were looking for a stolen vehicle with a child inside Friday morning. That vehicle has now been found. 

A 2017 Chevy Camaro was stolen from a house in the 300 block of E. Southern Avenue around 6:25 a.m. Friday. 

Around 7 a.m., police found the vehicle as SkyCam6 flew overhead. The child was found safe.

Police are still looking for a suspect.
