Police: Man in Model A Forced Off the Road, Another Driver Killed

State police are blaming the wreck on a man who was driving the wrong way on US 35.

STAR CITY, Ind.-- A wreck near Star City involving a Model A Ford, a Checy Cruze and a Honda Civic, ended with all three cars wrecked and a Logansport man dead, Sunday afternoon, said state police.

Troopers in Pulaski County said Larry Williams, 67, of Knox, had just bought a 1930 Model A, and was headed home on US 35, with his car when he was forced off the road by a 2017 Chevy Cruze, driven by Brayden Bordenet, 20, of Lafayette.

The Model A rolled at least three times and Williams was flown to a Ft. Wayne hospital with serious injuries.

Troopers said Bordenet was driving on the wrong side of the road and hit a '94 Civic head-on. The driver of that car, Antonio, Arzola, Jr., 24, of Logansport, was killed. Bordenet was also hurt badly and was flown to a hospital in Indianapolis.

Troopers said toxicology tests are pending and they worked Sunday to reconstruct the accident. It's still being investigated.
