Police Search For Leads In Shooting that Left Two Dead, One Injured In Paoli

One victim in critical condition with gunshot wound to the head

Indiana State Police are struggling with a lack of information in a shooting that has left two men dead in Orange County.

Nicholas Fields, 56 and Cory Harris, 25 died of gunshot wounds.  Daniel Smitson, 29 remains hospitalized.

The victims were found near a mobile home in Paoli.

Sergeant Phillip Hensley says they are building the case from the bottom up due to a lack of witnesses and detailed information.

Smitson and Fields were related, and Harris was a friend of Smitson, according to Hensley.
