Police Searching for Hit-and-Run Vehicle

IMPD detectives are asking for the public's help in locating an SUV which was involved in a hit-and-run crash on the city's northeast side.

Police say the crash happened shortly before 3:00 a.m. on July 27 in the 8300 block of Center Run Road.  A man was crossing the street when he was hit by a black GMC SUV.  The man suffered several broken bones and internal injuries but was in stable condition upon arrival at St. Vincent Hospital.

Anyone with information about the vehicle involved in this incident is asked to call IMPD Hit-and-Run detectives at 317-327-6594.  Those wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS.
