Police Still Searching for Suspect in Aug. 2 Homicide

IMPD Homicide detectives are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect in a fatal shooting August 2 on the city's near northeast side.

The shooting occurred in the 3000 block of Eastern Avenue, near 30th and Keystone, where officers found two men who had been shot.  One man was pronounced dead at the scene.  The other was taken to Eskenazi Hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Police have identified 22-year-old Anthony "Tony" Sullivan as a suspect in the shooting.  A warrant has been issued for Sullivan's arrest.  He's described as black, 5'9" tall and 125 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Sullivan is considered armed and dangerous.  Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS.
