Rose-Hulman's Homework Hotline Gets Boost From The Lilly Endowment

The "Ask Rose" help line has received a grant of nearly $3 million.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- A grant from The Lilly Endowment will help keep phones ringing at Rose-Hulman's "Ask Rose" Homework Hotline.

A grant of nearly $3 million will make math and science tutors available each school year through the end of 2020.

Homework Hotline tutors held nearly 34,000 tutoring sessions during the 2016-17 school year and more than 635,000 sessions since the program began in 1991.

Students in grades 6 through 12 can "Ask Rose" a question at 1-877-ASK-ROSE (1-877-275-7673) or at askrose.org.
